Atrium Addiction Care offers a variety of treatment choices and programs for individuals struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. Our inpatient treatment programs are designed for those who have more severe substance use problems and require 24-hour care. We admit both voluntary and involuntary patients.
The aim of the Atrium Addiction Care is to rehabilitate the patient back to a happy, healthier, and more fruitful life, free from harmful behavior and dependency on addictive substances. We think that a successful recovery includes a number of changes, such as an increase in self-worth, interpersonal relationships, family engagement, professional productivity, the development of coping mechanisms, and a move to a healthy lifestyle.
Since we first opened, we have made a commitment to offering clients who are seeking treatment the best care based on programming that is supported by research. Adults can now receive a full spectrum of therapies, including inpatient detoxification, inpatient rehabilitation, partial hospitalization program (PHP) with boarding, and intensive outpatient programming (IOP), at the 139-bed Atrium Addiction Care. Despite the fact that a lot has changed since we admitted our first patient more than 30 years ago, our program has remained dedicated to provide the best care in a setting of respect and decency.
An individual who chooses to receive treatment at Atrium Addiction Care may anticipate working closely with a group of committed and knowledgeable clinicians. Our medical director, who is certified by The American Board of Preventative Medicine with a focus on Addiction Medicine, as well as registered nurses, physicians' assistants, certified substance abuse counselors, licensed clinicians, a licensed certified marriage and family therapist, a licensed recreational therapist, a licensed certified art therapist, and other specialists, may work with the patient depending on their specific needs.
Our medical director is not only certified but also a licensed oncologist, internist, and general practitioner. The Gorski relapse prevention model, the Matrix Model (IOP) of addiction treatment, the Seeking Safety counseling model, and recreation therapy are among the specific training programs that other members of our treatment staff have undergone. Atrium Addiction Care is specially equipped to provide care for people whose chemical dependency is accompanied by significant medical needs thanks to the expertise of our treatment professionals and our hospital license.
Atrium Addiction Care offers a vast assortment of therapeutic opportunities, treatment tracks, and therapeutic modalities to make sure we are best equipped to address each patient's unique needs. Although each patient's experience in treatment with us will be different, the following are some of the components that might be included in his or her treatment plan: individual, group, and family therapy; recreational therapy; leisure activities; and medication management. We provide gender-specific groups for both men and women as well as groups specifically designed for young adults and middle-aged people.
Atrium Addiction Care offers specialized treatment programs such as Foundations Training for those with chronic pain and Operation Recovery, a track designed specifically for active-duty service personnel, veterans, and first responders. Two of the counselors in Operation Recovery are former military personnel.
Atrium Addiction Care's entire treatment program is created to support long-term recovery and foster personal growth. We are aware that treatment is only one step in the recovery process, so we make a concerted effort to help our patients learn the skills and alter their lifestyles that will enable them to achieve and maintain long-term recovery while leading healthy and fulfilling lives.
